Education

I go to Vanderbilt University and my majors are in English and Secondary Education. I have taken 5 years of Spanish before college and two years of Spanish in college. Currently, I am a Junior, but I transferred from The University of Tennessee Knoxville and left there with a 3.81 GPA.

Experience

The past two summers, I taught at a summer camp. My ACT score was a 32. I want to be a tutor because I want to be a teacher! I have taken many English classes and have taken 7 years of Spanish classes. When I visited the Dominican Republic four years ago, I was able to communicate with the native Spanish-speakers and have since improved.

Hobbies

I played softball for 14 years and loved it! In my free time, I also play a little bit of guitar and love writing. At Vanderbilt, I am in clubs, including Vandy Spoken Word, Vanderbilt Sailing, and Next Steps at Vanderbilt. These clubs basically represent many of the things I value the most: poetry/creativity, trying new things, and education, respectively. On the weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and reading!
