Experience
I began tutoring through a program at my school known as Peer Assistance Team, a club dedicated to the mental, social, and physical well being of our peers. Through this organization, I started tutoring other students from my high school. Then through my guidance counselor and some good recommendations I began tutoring various students around the greater New Orleans area. I developed a love for it, a passion. There is a certain level of camaraderie involved with tutoring, but also a distinct level of compassion needed to be the most effective. Knowing these things can make tutoring a phenomenal experience for both parties.

Hobbies
Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am a junior at Vanderbilt University. I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. So, naturally, I spent most of my time growing up playing multiple jazz instruments such as trombone, French horn, tuba, and trumpet. Later I took my musical skills to singing and playing cello, which both became my passion outside of school. I also played a lot of sports such as softball and soccer, but those were overtaken by my love for dance which later turned to cheering during high school. Now my passion lies in learning and achieving my goal of attending medical school after graduating from Vanderbilt. But I still find time to sing and do other things I love like volunteering!
