Experience
I graduated from Vanderbilt University in May of 2014 with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Mathematics. I've tutored throughout my high school and college career. I am able to tutor in the subjects of math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus), biology, chemistry, physics and SAT/ACT prep (Math sections). Tutoring for me has been very fulfilling, as I have been able to watch young students grow in their knowledge and understanding of these subjects and excel in their classes. It is very rewarding to know that I have made an impact on my students' academic careers and increased their chances of being admitted to a competitive school. I've worked with students of varying learning capabilities and can easily adapt my teaching style to fit the student's needs. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to travel to reach my students. I am patient, friendly and find that I introduce an element of fun into these seemingly dreaded subjects. I have built relationships with my students and I love what I do!
