I specialize in helping adults with academic and creative writing, though I can also tutor children. I have helped students who are studying toward their masters degrees and PhDs. I also help adults improve their creative writing. I currently lead two writing groups in Nashville, one for poetry and one for fiction. I am a published author. My masters thesis was published by Indiana University. I have published poetry and have an essay forthcoming in the Huffington Post. I have tutored children from grades 1 to 7 in essay and creative writing in preparation for state testing. Please note that my rates vary depending on the job and if travel is required. The rate quoted in this profile is a median rate. Generally I do not travel for tutoring.

I will edit your paper for overall structure/organization, clarity of ideas, integrity of arguments, grammar, punctuation, consistency of terms, duplicate/redundant information, and conformance to MLA or APA style. I do not writer papers. I provide instruction on how to write. I help improve or finalize papers written in your own words and for which you have done the research and critical thinking. I can assist you in the drafting stage by reviewing idea and basic outlines. Parents: I can tutor your child in basic essay writing and creative writing.
