I enjoy having the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with young learners. I get joy out of seeing the look on these students' faces when they finally find the answer to a problem that they have been working on. When tutoring, I believe that all students should be given the tools that they need to succeed, rather than being given the answers to these problems. As a result, I try to teach my students how to come through on their own because this is far more valuable than me solving their problems for them.The majority of my experience is from teaching high schoolers, but I also have experience with younger students, allowing me to tutor students of all ages. I have also worked with special education students. I enjoy teaching English and math, and can help students in Spanish and essay editing as well.I try to keep busy when I'm not teaching or tutoring and especially enjoy hiking and spending time with my dog. I also spend a great deal of time with my family and friends, in addition to wandering around Nashville and exploring the city.
