I am a recent graduate from Vanderbilt University. I received my BA in Chemistry with a 3.71 GPA. I currently work at a healthcare organization in Nashville.

Experience

I've always loved to teach. I started out teaching a class of 19-20 students as a volunteer substitute teacher in rural Nepal. As a volunteer at an understaffed, underfunded school, my days were hectic. Often I found myself teaching kids older than myself. However, the connections I made with my students were immeasurable and I find myself yearning for the opportunity to teach again. Since then, I've taught weekly science classes at middle schools in Nashville. I currently teach new refugees health literacy classes at their homes. I've taken the following relevant college-level courses: General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, General Biology, Genetics, Physics, Writing, Literature. I've also taken the following courses in high school: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus.
