Experience
I didn't take advantage of tutors until my senior year of college where tutors (mostly student) in every subject were available at the student center. I wish I had though, there is nothing like having someone sit with you to see a problem from a different perspective to get a new process or idea to click. It would be great to boost another student up and show them that they can succeed, whether that requires extra time or just a different way of thinking. I'm not sure how ADD/ADHD is approached in high school now, but its probably much the same as 5 or 6 years ago. I have ADD and school was rough before I figured out how best to study and learn in a way that fit me. There are a lot of other issues out there that can interfere with thriving in a standard learning environment and I want to help other students figure out their own ways to succeed.

Hobbies
I am a Nashville native and a very recent college graduate. I've always loved animals and being outside so naturally I was drawn towards studies focused on the environment and sustainability. I didn't learn to read until the summer before second grade (which is pretty late I'm told) but I love reading now and I've dabbled in many different genres, from biographies to science fiction/fantasy/adventure, to the typical teen romance/post-apocalyptic trilogies. I've discovered that I am the happiest and most productive when I exercise regularly, so most days I get out and do.
