I have a Masters in Economics with a concentration in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. I also have a Bachelors in Business Economics from Florida A&M University.

Experience

I have taught macroeconomics, microeconomics, and finance at the college level over the last five years. I currently teach economics at a local university. I have also tutored students ranging from high school to graduate school in macroeconomics and microeconomics with all students receiving no less than a B for their courses. I enjoy teaching economics. I have a passion for the subject, and I wholeheartedly believe that it helps students understand more about how the world works.

Many students are afraid to study economics, but I try to allay their anxiety by relating the subject matter to the things that give them comfort and confidence. I am a sports fan, a student of history, and a lover of culture --pop and otherwise; so, I tend to use examples from these walks of life (and others) to help students relate economic concepts to their everyday experiences.
