I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Tennessee and a researcher at Vanderbilt Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry within the Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody. Prior to working at Vanderbilt and becoming a researcher, I was a Graduate Research Assistant and Graff Scholar at the University of Tennessee where I worked in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies as a Teaching Assistant and policy researcher.Prior to attending UT, I was a history teacher and JV/Varsity Lacrosse Coach at the Albany Academy for Boys in upstate NY. I have taught American History, World History, Academic writing for graduate students, research design and specialize in quantitative statistics, social science research and education policy. I have taught thesis and dissertation writing and have experience working with students starting in middle school through the doctoral levels. I am a published researcher and have presented my work at international conferences.

I worked part time at a local hockey facility as the zamboni driver. I have a love for the sport of hockey as well as lacrosse. In addition, I am an experienced weight/powerlifter. My hobbies include weightlifting, artwork, and lacrosse. I am currently the new lacrosse coach for Valor Collegiate Academy Lacrosse Club here in Nashville.
