I am from the Bay Area, born and raised. After relocating for school several times throughout the years, I am back in the area. When I first left the Bay Area, I moved to Colorado to go to school at Colorado State University--Go Rams! Thereafter, I went to Seville, Spain, to study, and I graduated with a bachelor's in communication and minor in Spanish. I worked in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors for a few years before I made a decision to move once again, this time to Central America. During that time, I tutored English in Panama for 15 months.Now that I am back in the states and living in Union City, CA, I would love to share my knowledge and experience with students who are looking for help with their studies. I am heavily swayed by written and oral language, so I prefer to work with students who need particular assistance in building upon those skills. In order to achieve success throughout a student's career, a tutor should provide a teaching method tailored to the student's learning process. This is something I aim to bring to each of my tutoring sessions. I believe that study and organizational skills are important to a student's advancement in any subject, and I focus on this in my sessions as well. Outside of tutoring, you can find me outdoors. I also like to travel and experience different cultures and languages.
