I am currently a freshman (Class of 2023) at Vanderbilt University as a prospective neuroscience major.
Experience
I have tutored middle school students in pre algebra, algebra 1, writing, reading, social studies/history, and biology when I was in high school, and I would love to do so now! I want to be a tutor because I enjoy working with children and helping them with not just their academic work but also their personal development. I hope to continue working with children when I am older and tutoring is just the first step for me! I have taken 10 AP's during high school and received 4s and 5s on all of them. I got a 34 on the ACT with a perfect score on the reading section.

Hobbies
One of my favorite hobbies is calligraphy! I am by no means a professional, but I learned the basics off of videos and tutorials in the beginning of high school. I still enjoy it to this day, and I am constantly learning new styles and ways to improve my lettering. I also really enjoy bullet journaling and playing piano. Both of these help me relieve stress after a long day of classes and studying. They have especially helped during my freshman year of college as I moved across the country and was still adjusting.
