Experience
I have been a registered tutor with Belmont University School of Music for three years. I have taught jazz, beginner, and classical guitar for 6 years. I have taken numerous theory classes ranging from fundamentals of music theory to Baroque counterpoint to contemporary techniques. I also have studied guitar pedagogy and have spent my entire college career taking guitar lessons as well as piano and composition lessons. I have performed at Belmont on numerous occasions as well as composed pieces for other students, private clients, and commercial clients as well. I have lived in Israel, Turkey, and Germany so I have a very unique influence in my writing as a result of my travel. I also believe my travels in addition to my education have made me an effective teacher and tutor. I have taught or tutored students from ages 10 to 56 and have learned to create personalized strategies for teaching and tutoring for a broad range or interests, needs, and learning types.
