Experience
Tutoring seems like a natural choice for me as teaching has been a passion of mine for many years. My most recent experience includes teaching an upper-level American Literature II college course for the spring semester of my senior year. I was also one of ten students in the English department chosen to become a student writing tutor; this included working along a set group of students and also conducted impromptu tutoring sessions in the Writing Center. While my experience and passions primarily favor higher education, I also had the experience of being a student teacher for a second grade class for an entire year; teaching those students proved to be a real joy, and they responded well to my personality and approach to teaching.

Hobbies
Over the weekends I love getting the chance to be outside and explore. I also relax during the week by playing instruments, (I come from a musical family), and working on sketching and calligraphy. I love cooking and baking for others, too; my friends and family are always very well-fed with homemade goodies!
