Experience
I scored a 1400 on my SAT the one time I took them, a 5 on my AP English and a 5 on my AP Spanish exam. The truth is, I enjoy learning, and I enjoy teaching. I am particularly gifted in breaking down complicated processes into something a little easier to understand and encounter; no one thinks algebra will come in handy until years later when they are trying to create a spreadsheet in Excel. (And I am a self-taught Excel guru, so if I can learn it, YOU can learn it!) I am also a classically trained pianist, 13 years at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music, so I can also help others to link music theory with what they're actually doing with their instrument. I love to teach - I enjoy the gratification of seeing someone light up with comprehension when they finally "get it." I want others to enjoy learning something new as much as I do.
