Experience
Previously home schooled child with Asperger's who has since returned to public school. I was also a foster parent while stationed in Mississippi. Growing up, I took part in a number of mentoring and peer educator programs concerning many of the issues faced not only by kids my age but more specifically, foster kids like me who were getting ready to age out of the system.

Hobbies
Right now, I am working and going to school full-time though I will be graduating in 3 more weeks. I am also actively involved in our music boosters with the middle school music department and volunteer up to 20 hours in a week. In addition to the above, though, I am looking for more experience working with all kinds of kids as I am most interested in returning to foster parenting and working with kids in difficult situations. Working with other peoples' kids not only helps kids who are having a difficult time with something, it helps me gain perspectives on how to deal with kids I might not have seen before or perhaps widens an existing viewpoint.
