-I have tutored with the Talented Tenth Leadership Program and Village of Promise in Huntsville, Alabama at different elementary schools. I was also apart of a tutoring/mentoring program my freshman year in college. -I made an overall 22 on my ACT, including the writing portion. I took AP English in 10th, 11th, as well as 12th grade, and passed with grades of B's or higher. -I want to become a tutor because I feel that education is extremely important. I also believe that if you have the ability to help someone else see that, then you should offer your assistance. I enjoy writing very much, along with reading and critical thinking. Reading is one of the most critical elements in one's education, but unless it is comprehended it is irrelevant. I want to be able to show younger people that there are different, more fun ways to learn.

Hobbies

I love music, and have always incorporated it into my learning. I was a very athletic individual in high school. I cheered, danced, and played softball. I have younger siblings, so I have always been some form of a mentor and tutor, and I enjoy it very much. My goal is to one day become a political journalist, as well as open up a reading center for younger kids.
