I am a resident of Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. There, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and Psychology. While at UNC, I had the good fortune to spend a semester studying in Paris. I was also a member of the French Honor Society, Pi Delta Phi, and vice president of the university's yoga club. I was similarly active at my Charlotte, North Carolina high school, taking five advanced placement courses and four community college courses and graduated with a GPA of 4.25. I was president of the National Honor Society, a member of the yearbook staff, and played volleyball, all while working part-time in a local coffee shop. I'm passionate about learning and curious about the world in general. I love reading poetry, biography, and adventure stories; my absolute favorite is the Harry Potter series. My other main avocation is yoga. I teach not only yoga but pranayama, which is breath awareness. In my spare time I also enjoy gardening. I can tutor elementary and middle school math, biology, anatomy, physiology, earth science, French, reading and writing, United States and European history, psychology, study skills, public speaking, and preparation for writing college essays.
