As a tutor, I try to get my students to actively think and discover on their own, by asking them questions that encourage independent thinking. I have been lucky enough to work with students from all over the world, including various parts of Europe, as well as California. I am very creative, and have been able to make a career out of writing and editing, as well as working in the entertainment industry. Naturally, I enjoy working with students in all subjects related to Writing, and I also enjoy Math because it is very straightforward, and a good balance to something as open as Writing. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1, Elementary Math, French, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, College Essays, Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Public Speaking, and English. I also assist students in preparing for exams like the SAT (Math, Verbal, Writing, and Critical Reading) and the PSAT (Critical Reading and Writing Skills). I graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Advertising.When I'm not busy working, I love to travel to different places, play with my dog Quito (originally from Ecuador), and work on my novel.
