Presently, I am attending Vanderbilt University and working to obtain my neuroscience PhD. The main focus of my research is the multitude of ways human behavior affects the brain and how those behaviors contribute to obesity. Throughout my research, I have gained extensive statistical and mathematical knowledge. I have organized and am in charge of two collegiate journal clubs. In one of the clubs, the focus is to teach the nitty gritty of neuroscience and research to undergrad students. I also continue to be a volunteer mentor for students that have an interest in the area of applied sciences. I am able to assist students in math, geometry, statistics, anatomy, biology, reading, writing, psychology, and public speaking. I am also able to assist students with essay writing and editing, as well as study/organizational skills. A fun fact about me - I am a percussionist who is classically trained and loves performing. I also enjoy cooking, reading, biking, kickball, and playing football. In addition to playing football, I also manage two fantasy football leagues.
