I am a native of Nashville, Tennessee, where I attended Montgomery Bell Academy. After high school, I went to the University of Georgia, where I majored in Finance and International Business, along with a Spanish minor. I love the field of global business. My educational experiences have taken me abroad to experience economic and geopolitical realities across the globe. As a world traveler, I have learned that one must be able to adapt and learn quickly. My Spanish background is strong, with the combination of my minor, summer classes in Spain, and an educational-based trip to Costa Rica. My experience outside the classroom includes two key internships. I interned with Jim Cooper, a United States congressman, and I also interned for a premier real estate fund manager. I came away with new knowledge in finance, business, and international and domestic affairs.As a tutor, I have worked with kids ranging in ages from eight to 18 at a Boys and Girls Club, and this has kindled my interest in working with students. I believe that the combination of my background in academia and my practical experiences gives me a tremendous set of skills I can use to help students reach their academic goals.
