I have a bachelor's degree in Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. I gained my tutoring experience as a high school student on my school's Peer Tutoring Committee and as a teaching assistant at Vanderbilt. These experiences have taught me the skills necessary to explain sometimes difficult concepts to students.My teaching and tutoring experience at work and in the classroom with younger students, peers, and professors has helped me gain the leadership, organization, and communication skills needed to enhance any student's performance in the subjects they choose. During my undergraduate studies, I developed the ability to study efficiently and manage my time effectively. Both skills have helped me succeed as a student, and I strive to pass these skills along to the students I tutor. In high school, I took several AP exams, as well as the ACT, SAT, and PSAT. I took the initiative to participate in the test preparation courses and acquired insight into how to succeed when taking standardized tests. I'm happy to pass this knowledge along to my own students.In my spare time, I enjoy volleyball, hiking, reading, and running.
