I am a tutor who learns the interests of a student, and then provides ways to relate those interests to the topics I am teaching. This helps students find the topic more meaningful. Using this method helps students connect with each topic.I am comfortable working with middle schoolers, high school students, and college students. I have the ability to tutor English, science, and math. I particularly enjoy teaching algebra, and teach my students to look at it like a puzzle to be solved. Most of my tutoring experience has been in science and math, and I have also worked with students who are preparing for the ACT. I graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in ecology and evolutionary biology. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in public health, and am hoping to be accepted into medical school as well.In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching football, horseback riding, soccer, and basketball. I also have played classical piano for the past 16 years, and enjoy reading murder mystery books.
