I attended both Kenyatta University and Tennessee State University, where I gained extensive knowledge in Math-related fields. My decision to make Math my career was developed through school, thanks to the excellent Mathematics teachers I had. I excelled at the subject, and each of them encouraged me to continue with it. I find the subject endlessly intriguing, and strive to make my students feel the same way. I have been teaching Mathematics courses for the past nine years, and look forward to continuing. I offer tutoring in many related subjects, including Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, Calculus and Precalculus, and Physics.My goal as a tutor and teacher is to give students as much feedback as possible. I want to build their confidence in Math and help them realize that they can handle the material. It is not only important to be able to solve basic equations, but also to be able to understand the material well enough that they can explain it to others. I encourage sharing between my students, and ask them to discuss their work with their peers. I believe that through regular effort and homework, students can quickly come to understand the material.When I'm not crunching numbers, I love to spend time with my family and friends.
