Private tutor in Nashville, TN
Education
Lipscomb University - Bachelors, Mechanical Engineering
Experience
I graduated from Smyrna High School in May 2013 as Valedictorian. Much of my success can be attributed to my teachers at that school. I became a National Merit Finalist while in school and won a full scholarship to Lipscomb University, where I am studying mechanical engineering with a 3.85 GPA. I aim to use what I learn to provide third world countries with the necessities they need. I enjoy tutoring students who want to achieve their goals and become self-sufficient. Learning is invaluable to our future, both academically and professionally. I can tutor students of all ages in a variety of high school and college level subjects, particularly math and science areas. I believe that tutoring requires an instructor willing to push their students to think for themselves. Along with basic math and science courses, I tutor students in differential equations, physics, calculus, and multivariable calculus. I can tutor in essay editing, writing, and English as well. I encourage my students to develop a passion for learning, working hard to ensure that they can become confident and successful. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working on my car, going fishing, and taking nature photographs. Getting outdoors prevents me from going stir crazy.
