I'm a 25 year old student of life that graduated from Peabody School of Education at Vanderbilt University with a major and minor in Leadership and Corporate Strategy. I also have enough credits in songwriting and music courses to virtually have a degree in music as well.
Experience
My first experience with tutoring came 6 years ago when I opened a private branch of ACT prep tutoring for Revolution Prep. At that time, I taught small classes of 5-9 students and also worked as a private tutor. I absolutely love to learn and am fulfilled by guiding students to reach their maximum potential. My philosophy is centered around teaching How to Learn. The goal is to empower my students so that they no longer need my tutelage but are self-sufficient at diagnosing and fixing their academic problems. An interesting fact: Last year I walked 1,600 miles from Maine to Atlanta, GA and back to Nashville on a musical tour. My group played 50+ shows and I shot a documentary that I'm currently editing. I am a firm believer in setting goals and going out and accomplishing them.
